You can download the Honeywall CDROM from here. It is assumed you have read and understand all the documentation and recognize the issues and risks involved, including those documented in Know Your Enemy: Honeynets.

Current Version 0.69
The current version of the Honeywall CDROM is 0.69. The following changes were made since 0.68.

  • Whitelisting. The ability to identify IP's and networks that are allowed inbound and outbound, but are not logged or alerted on.
  • Blacklisting. The ability to identify IP's and networks that are denied inbound and outbound, and are not logged or alerted on.
  • Improved daily traffic summary reporting (now includes Snort alerts, Snort-Inline alerts, and suspicious traffic. Suspicious traffic is defined as any connection that consists of 10 or more packets, or more then 1K in size.
  • Fixed several small bugs.
